Getting Started

How do I connect with my partner?
There are several ways to connect:

If you're together: One person generates a code in "Share code", the other scans the QR or enters it manually. The code lasts 10 minutes.

If you're apart: Generate a "Remote invitation" that lasts 7 days. Share it via WhatsApp or message.

The code format is LOVE-XXXXXX (6 characters).
What does the LOVE-XXXXXX code mean?
It's your unique pairing code. The 6 characters after "LOVE-" are the actual code. Share it with your partner to connect your devices.
Can I use the same code twice?
No, each code can only be used once. If you need to reconnect, generate a new code.
The code says "expired" but I just generated it
Ephemeral codes (when together) only last 10 minutes. If you're apart, use "Remote invitation" which lasts 7 days.
Can I connect with multiple people?
No, LockLove is for couples. You can only have one active connection. To connect with someone else, you must first disconnect in Settings.

Wallpapers

Why isn't the wallpaper showing on my lock screen?
You need to set up "Live Wallpaper":

1. Open LockLove
2. Go to Settings > Couple Zone
3. Enable "Live Wallpaper"
4. Follow the instructions for your device
How do I create a wallpaper?
1. Tap the "+" button on the main screen
2. Choose "Photo" or "Video"
3. Use the editor to add text, stickers, drawings or GIFs
4. Preview and send
Why can't I send wallpapers to my partner?
Verify that your partner has:

- Notifications enabled
- Live Wallpaper configured

You can check their status in Settings > Couple Zone.
Can I send videos as wallpaper?
Yes, but both need:

- Live Wallpaper configured
- The video can be trimmed to maximum 10 seconds
How many wallpapers can I send?
Free plan: Daily/weekly send limit
Premium: Unlimited sends

Settings

What is "Memory Wallpaper"?
It's a Premium feature that automatically restores your personal wallpaper after viewing your partner's. You can configure the wait time (immediate, 5s, 10s, 30s, 1 min).
How do I save wallpapers I receive?
With Premium you can enable "Save received to gallery" in Settings. Wallpapers will automatically save to your device.
How do I change the app language?
Go to Settings > Language. Available in: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese.
How do I change the theme (light/dark)?
Go to Settings > Theme. You can choose: System (follows your device), Light, or Dark.
What does "Wake Screen on Receive" mean?
This Premium feature automatically turns on your screen when you receive a wallpaper from your partner, so you don't miss it.

What does Premium include?
- Unlimited wallpaper sends
- Video wallpapers
- Memory Wallpaper (auto-restore)
- Auto-save to gallery
- Wake Screen on receive
- Early access to new features
If I buy Premium, does my partner get it too?
Yes! When one of you buys Premium, both get all the benefits.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to Settings and look for "Restore purchases". If you changed devices, this will recover your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS). Go to your store's subscription settings.

Account

How do I disconnect from my partner?
Go to Settings > Couple Zone > "Disconnect". This action is irreversible and will delete all shared wallpapers.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and tap "Delete account". You'll need to confirm by typing "DELETE". This will permanently delete:

- All your data and wallpapers
- Your connection with your partner
- Your LockLove account
What happens to my wallpapers if I disconnect?
The wallpapers remain in your account, but your partner loses access to them. If you delete your account, everything is permanently erased.
Can I recover my account after deleting it?
No, deletion is permanent and GDPR compliant. All data is erased from our servers.

Troubleshooting

"Your partner is already connected with someone"
Your partner already has an active connection with another person. They must disconnect first in Settings > Couple Zone > Disconnect.
"You can't connect with yourself"
You're trying to use your own code. Share the code with your partner so they can enter it.
Send fails with "limit exceeded"
You've reached the free plan's send limit. Wait for the next period or upgrade to Premium for unlimited sends.
Wallpapers take time to arrive
Verify that:

- Both have internet connection
- Your partner has notifications enabled
- Your partner has Live Wallpaper configured
The app uses too much battery
Some devices limit background apps. Go to Device Settings > Apps > LockLove > Battery and disable battery optimization.
