There are a few ways to connect:

If you're together: One of you generates a code in "Share code," the other scans it with the QR or types it in manually. The code lasts 10 minutes.

If you're apart: Generate a "Remote invite" that lasts 7 days. Share it over WhatsApp or text.

The code format is LOVE-XXXXXX (6 characters).

You can sign in with:

- Google

- Email (we send you a magic link, no password)

The invitation link is valid for 7 days. If it expires, just generate a new one from the app.

Your name appears on your partner's screen when you send them a wallpaper. You can change it anytime in Settings.

The editor includes:

- Text with more than 15 font styles (handwritten, modern, classic, signature...)

- Gradient backgrounds in several palettes

We have several palettes: Pastel, Vibrant, Dark, Soft, Multicolor, and Modern. Perfect for when you want a beautiful background without using a photo.

It's a visual guide that shows you the edges of your partner's lock screen. Anything inside that zone will look good. Anything outside it could get cut off by the clock, notifications, or the edges of the screen.

Yes! Videos can be up to 10 seconds long — if yours is longer, you can trim it right in the editor.

Yes, you can schedule sends for the perfect moment. The app takes your partner's time zone into account, so if you're in different countries, the wallpaper arrives at the right time.

There are also quick options like "When they wake up" or "Goodnight surprise."

No, once it's sent it can't be changed. But you can always create a new one and send it.

On Android, you need to turn on the Live Wallpaper:

1. Open LockLove
2. Go to Settings > Connected with [your partner]
3. Turn on Live Wallpaper
4. Follow the steps your device shows you

On iPhone, what you receive doesn't appear on the lock screen but in the LockLove widget on your home screen: check that you've added it and that notifications are turned on.

Next to each wallpaper in your history you'll see its status:

- Sending — it's uploading
- Delivered — it reached your partner's device
- Seen — your partner unlocked their screen and saw it

Check that:

- You both have an internet connection
- Your partner has notifications turned on
- Your partner has the Live Wallpaper set up (on Android) or the LockLove widget added (on iPhone)

If everything looks right and it's still slow, your partner's phone may be restricting the app in the background.

Your partner needs to have these turned on:

- Notifications
- Live Wallpaper (Android only)

You can check their setup status in Settings > Connected with [your partner].

Both wallpapers are delivered without a problem. The most recent one is shown, but both are saved in your history.

You can save the wallpapers you love most by tapping the heart. They're arranged in a carousel where you can view them, resend them, or use them as your "Memory Wallpaper" background.

It's an Android feature that automatically restores your favorite wallpaper. When you receive a wallpaper from your partner, you see it for as long as you choose, and then your own wallpaper comes back.

You can set the time: when the screen turns off, 5s, 10s, 30s, or 1 minute. And you can pick the wallpaper from your gallery or your favorites.

You can turn on auto-save in Settings. Every wallpaper you send — and, on Android, every one you receive — is saved straight to your phone's gallery.

It stays until you receive a new one from your partner. If you have "Memory Wallpaper" turned on (on Android), your own wallpaper is restored automatically after a few seconds.

On Android, this feature turns your screen on automatically when you receive a wallpaper from your partner. That way you see it right away, without touching anything.

Yes, on Android. Turn on App lock in Settings > Security. You can set a grace period (for example, so it doesn't ask for your fingerprint if you unlocked less than 30 seconds ago).

In Settings > Connected with [your partner] you'll see indicators of your partner's status: whether they have notifications on and, on Android, the Live Wallpaper set up. If something's missing, the app points it out.

No, LockLove is for couples. You can only have one active connection. To connect with someone else, you first need to disconnect in Settings.

Go to Settings > Connected with [your partner] > "Disconnect." This action can't be undone and will delete all shared wallpapers.

Wallpapers stay in your account, but your partner will lose access to them. If you delete your account, everything is permanently erased.

Go to Settings and tap "Delete account." You'll need to confirm by typing "DELETE." This will permanently delete:

- All your data and wallpapers
- Your connection with your partner
- Your LockLove account

No, deletion is permanent and complies with GDPR. All data is erased from our servers.

Yes. LockLove is on Google Play and the App Store.

- On Android, what your partner sends you becomes your lock screen wallpaper, with no notification.
- On iPhone, it appears in the LockLove widget on your home screen, not as your lock screen wallpaper. For the widget to update, you need to have notifications turned on.

You can use it even if one of you has Android and the other has an iPhone.

On Android you need:

- Android 7.0 or higher
- At least 2 GB of RAM
- Google Play Services installed

It doesn't work on Android Go devices or on HarmonyOS without Google Services.

On iPhone you need iOS 16 or higher. There's no iPad version.

No. To show you what you receive, LockLove integrates with your phone's system — the Live Wallpaper on Android, the widget on iPhone — and that's only possible from a native app.

Just sign in with the same account on your new phone. Your connection and your wallpaper history are restored automatically.

It's the permission LockLove needs to change your lock screen wallpaper automatically when you receive something from your partner. Without it, the app can't show the wallpapers.

Your partner already has an active connection with someone else. They need to disconnect first in Settings > Connected with [your partner] > Disconnect.

You're trying to use your own code. Share the code with your partner so they can be the one to enter it.

On Android, some manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei...) aggressively limit apps in the background.

Go to Device settings > Apps > LockLove > Battery and select "Unrestricted" or turn off battery optimization for LockLove.

No, you both need to have LockLove installed. You can send them an invitation right from the app so they can download it.
